Summer Programs in Italy for Highschool Students

Trulli Italian School is happy to welcome you to an enthusiastic italian summer program for high school students (14-17 ages) who want to learn Italian in one the coolest region of Italy: Puglia. Heavenly beaches, unbelievable landscape and artistic heritages like no other in the world.
We have prepared a rich program of engaging activities and intensive italian courses in order to improve your italian in safety and friendly atmosphere.

Learn Italian and have fun doing it!

You will attend 20 Italian lessons from Monday to Friday morning, with classes divided by levels and with a maximum of 6 students in order to conserve the quality of the lesson and never leave anyone behind. All of our teachers are highly qualified and experienced in teaching teenagers and Italian lessons are conducted dynamically and enriched with games, songs and real-life situations.
An important part of learning in our summer programs takes place in the afternoon where students are stimulated to constantly speak Italian!

One of the richest summer program in Italy

After class you will expect one of the richest program through which students can have fun and at the same time improve their language. We will do excursions to the most beautiful Puglia’s cities, afternoons at the seaside, water park, sports, boat tours, cooking courses and much more. Even for the evening, there will be strolls for local festivals to enjoy the fresh Apulian summer.

Our team…

Our first goal is to ensure that every student feels at home. As such, we personally take care of every aspect of their stay, from the minute they arrive up until the minute they leave. They will always find a family atmosphere, where they can feel free, relaxed and welcome, and at the same time assisted by our professional and friendly staff! But we know also it’s time to start being independent, so we like to give some free time during the activities.

The days are split in two parts: 4 italian lesson in the morning (20 lessons of 45 min per week), and activities in the afternoon (between 3pm and 7pm) and some nights. The kids will be escorted, in all activities, by italian staff.

I had an amazing time at the summer camp. Made many friends and long lasting relationships with people all around the world. Everyone is very friendly and accepting and don’t judge. The tutors Andrea and Paola are very kind, welcoming and make the stay very pleasant, putting up with all out antics. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone who wishes to immerse themselves into the Italian culture and who wishes to have fun. Some of the activities we engaged in included e-biking, a beautiful boat tour around the island and a plentiful amount of free time for everyone to explore the amazing cities we are taken to. I was sad to see everyone go and would do this a million more times if I could.

An amazing time for my daughter

My teenage daughter attended Trulli Italian School and had the most amazing time. Language instruction was interspersed with trips to the seaside, bike rides, pasta making, scavenger hunts, and just time hanging out with new friends from other countries. I loved the international mix of students, as well as the relaxed and playful atmosphere that still encouraged learning. Andrea the director was very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions or concerns. A life-expanding, educational, and friendly experience all around!

An unexpected experience

I didn’t expect anything special when i was on my way to trulli italian camp, but it was the best possible experience for the summer. everyone was so welcoming and friendly from the beginning. i made a lot of friends and we spend those amazing two weeks doing lots of activities. my favorite one was definitely the boat trip. also my italian skills are much better now because of the lessons we had almost every day. they were so fun! i truly recommend going to this camp.

An incredible time

I did the summer camp Italian course for teenagers and I had an incredible time. I had probably the most memorable 2 weeks of my life there and made some life-long friends. Andrea and Paola were absolutely perfect in terms of giving us enough freedom all the while keeping everything under control. They created an extremely comfortable and accepting environment and made sure to include everyone. Everyday we had activities which were always extremely fun and well organised. It exceeded my expectations by a mile and I couldn’t have asked for more.

Total cultural immersion

I received a very warm welcoming, the language barrier was barely noticeable and you are quickly put at ease by Andrea and Paula. The group of girls i was with were very sweet and by the end of my stay i had created tight bonds with all of them. The activities were very well planned out and the organization was outstanding. Everything ran smoothly from the morning Italian classes to the afternoon excursions. The host family i stayed with made me feel at home and catered to my needs, the food was delicious and homemade. Overall the trip was extremely enjoyable and i will come back next year for another 2 weeks of learning and fun!

All arrivals must be on Sundays, while all departures on Saturdays, (if a student wishes to leave early or delay his/her departure, a written request must be sent and addressed to the school in advance). For new students, Monday morning will be dedicated to the entrance test and based on the results students will be assigned to a class which best suits their level of Italian.
