It is seldom that a life experience so greatly exceeds my expectations. While I am a master of none, I have studied several languages, with a variety of teachers, over my lifetime.

At Trulli School, one teacher is assigned per class. Without a doubt, our teacher, Elisa, excels in her profession. We four, in her class,  were the beneficiaries of her terrific energy, and her multifaceted talents with language, organization, explanation, lesson structure, and the pacing of instruction. We were encouraged, engaged, and appropriately challenged in accordance with our abilities. Above all, Elisa cares.

However, the school experience just begins with excellent instruction.  The school tuition also covers nearly all daily afternoon tours to the most important locations in the area. When school is over for the day, the professional, informative and thorough tours begin. Private, friendly, safe drivers transported us in comfortable vehicles to places like Matera, Martina Franca, Polignano al Mare, Monopoli, Locorotonda, to an olive grove, to a walkable grotto, to a Trulli residence where a hands on cooking class for all 20 of us gave us such fun, along with a great meal.

Andrea and Elisabetta and staff  run the school in a top notch fashion, yet with a relaxed and friendly hand. They create a seamless and well organized school experience; from finding lodging for students, to answering multitudes of questions every day, to scheduling transport for students and of course setting up the tours for the students.  They do all of this with professionalism, helpfulness, great attention to detail, caring, concern and lots of good humor.

I met so many interesting, adventurous and language loving people from all over the world who came to attend Trulli School.

Great school, great team of teachers and staff. We learned a lot, the lessons were very interactive. All the extra activities were very well organized, we visited most of the Puglia region and learned some cooking tips on typical italian food. We learned and had fun at the same time. Also made a lot of new friends.
I highly recommend Trulli Italian school.

Foi uma experiência incrível! A minha professora Angelica foi excelente, as aulas eram interativas, interessante e aprofundaram meu conhecimento com certeza!! A equipe administrativa, Andrea e Elizabeta apoiam no que precisamos e os passeios organizados por eles todos os dias no período da tarde sao enriquecedores e fazem toda a diferença pois, dessa forma,  estamos inseridos totalmente no contexto da lingua e da cultura Italiana. Trulli Italian School was absolutely incredible! I can not say enough great things about my two weeks there. Andrea has created a perfect blend of learning and exploring this beautiful area of Italy. I was blessed with the most amazing teacher Elisa-whom without her my experience would not had been so unforgettable. As a beginner she created a fun, comfortable environment while challenging us in creative ways. Every day was filled with a ton of learning but also so many laughs! Each afternoon we explored another beautiful city - and the town of Alberobello itself is just wonderful- I was very sad to leave.
I left Trulli school with a great foundation and a deep desire to continue learning the Italian language.
I also want to recognize Elisabetta in the office who takes care of so much for everyone and Angelica who drove and conducted several tours was just fabulous.

Ich kann die Trulli Italien School sehr empfehlen! Die Lehrerinnen sind super nett und helfen einem wirklich, die Sprache zu lernen. I had a wonderful experience at the Trulli Italian School. The teachers and staff were incredibly well-organized, friendly and attentive to the needs of students. The afternoon excursions were well planned, and gave students a comprehensive overview of the best Puglia has to offer. Andrea, the owner of the school, Cesare and Angelica, our drivers, and Elisabetta, the school secretary, took excellent care of us. The Trulli School was everything I hoped it would be plus.  Right away the staff and other students became friends.  The four hours of class each day was the perfect time frame.  My teacher Elisa was fun and fabulous.  She has a wonderful way of explaining grammar rules so they make sense.  The afternoon activities were very enjoyable. I recently took the 2-week immersion course with Trulli Italian School. It was recommended to me by a friend. The course was great - small groups, divided by average level. We had classes in the morning and in the afternoon there were various activities, including wine tasting, olive oil tasting and visiting cities like Polignano a Mare, Locorotondo, Ostuni, Matera. The course gave me the confidence I needed to unlock my Italian. Our teacher, Angelica was amazing! She managed all of our shenanigans with a great attitude and sense of humor and taught us a great deal in such a short timeframe. The staff at the school, Andrea, Angelica, Elisabetta and the other teachers were incredible and made us feel as a small family.
Highlight for me were: the cooking class, trip to Matera, olive oil tasting and just simply having time to hang out with my new friends.

Ciao! I recently returned from a 3 week course at Trulli Language School in Alberobello, Puglia. The experience was amazing! My initial contact with the school, with inquiries regarding availability, tuition, accommodations and pre course tutoring were answered promptly and efficiently by Elizabetta, the office manager. My transportation from the airport to my apartment, arranged by the school as well, made my arrival smooth and easy. After a pretest to determine our levels, the currant students were divided into small groups and the lessons began. My teacher, Elisa was great. I had taken 10 zoom lessons with her before arriving in Italy and this made the classes even more personal. She was a master at using a variety of techniques to improve our speaking, reading and listening skills. Andrea, the school director provided many ways for us, the students, to bond and practice our Italian! The colazione the first morning gave us all a chance to meet, the mid morning pausa provided time to mingle, the cooking class could not have been more fun especially as we all prepared and shared the meal at Andrea’s family  trulli spot and the departure drinks and nibbles brought a warm closure to the weeks we had spent at the school. In addition, I especially appreciated, that trips to a winery, Matera, Ostuni, Lecce, Polignano a Mare and Monopoli were included in the tuition. This made it clear to me that Andrea not only wanted to teach us Italian but wanted us to know the area that he loves and is home to him. The whole experience was wonderful from beginning to end. My wife and I attended Trulli Italian School in September. We stayed at Trulli del Bosco during our time there which is a couple of miles out of town.  We rented a small car which Andrea arranged to have delivered to Trulli del Bosco and transfers to and from the airport were seamless.  Everyone from Andrea on was very attentive in making sure that we were well taken care of.  The afternoon excursions were always excellent.  The school is located in a part of the country that we otherwise probably would not have visited and we were surprised by how much we enjoyed everything. The teachers were engaging and very patient with our attempts in speaking Italian.
