My time at this camp was an eye opening moment of my life. I was able to fully indulge in Italian culture while being educated on the language and the history of Puglia. Every member of staff at this camp treated every student with respect and care and made sure they felt at home during their time. When it came to class time the teachers were very patient with the students and took time out of the lesson to make sure everybody was on the same page and nobody was falling behind. Great experience as a teen, we learned a lot about the culture and the people here. The staff is amazing and kind. Every one is very close and great friendships are born. I would like to begin by saying that this school exceeded my expectations! The staff are friendly and charming, and the lessons are fun and very interactive. The whole experience was amazing, from the school setting to the daily guided tours to so many enchanting historical towns; to the town of Alberobello; to the trulli; to the friendly citizens of the town, . I just took a week long class at Trulli Italian School and could not recommend it more! I am a French & Spanish teacher  myself and so my expectations for language teaching are high, and I can confidently say that Elisa exceeded my expectations! Her communicative approach, patience, and fun sense of humor made me look forward to the classes every day. I wish I could have stayed longer! Elisabetta (the school's administrative assistant) was always so attentive and sweet in helping me arrange cycling excursions and clarifying logistics. Attending the May 13-25, 2024 class for 55+ at the Trulli Italian School in Alberobello to learn the language and ancient history of the surrounding towns in Puglia was an experience of a lifetime.  Andrea, the founder of the school, Elisabetta, and my excellent and patient teacher Elisha and staff were wonderful and responsive to our needs. As a solo traveler and my first experience with the language other than a brief online course with Sofia who helped to prepare me for the course, the staff made me feel welcomed and special at 84 y.o. And, what a great group of fun-loving students.  We still keep in touch by WhatsApp. Since several students expressed interest, I am planning on Zooming my PPT of our experiences in Puglia and my travels to Amalfi Coast and Sicily.

Ho avuto una bellissima esperienza a Trulli Italian School. La mia insegnante, Elisa, è stata molto esperta, spiegandomi le regole di grammatica e correggendo i miei errori in modo gentile e professionale. Ha creduto nelle mie capacità, quindi ho potuto andare avanti con letture ed attività di grammatica più complicate. È stata una sfida accessibile con il suo aiuto. I legami che crea con i suoi studenti vengono naturalmente, e di questo sono grata. Adesso posso dire che dopo aver trascorso una settimana di lezioni private con lei, ho superato di livello ed anche di sicurezza di me. RO🇷🇴:Am avut 2 săptămâni de vis , n-am crezut ca mă voi distra așa tare niciodată , activitățile extracuriculare sunt foarte interesante , de la mersul la plajă și la aquapark până la vizitatul orașelor celebre din puglia.Scoala este de asemenea minunată , profesori minunați care predau excelent. Pot să zic ca a fost o experiență grozavă , mulțumesc Andrea pentru această tabără minunată.
EN🇺🇸:I had 2 weeks of dream , I never thought I would have so much fun & extracurricular activities are very interesting , from going to the beach and the aquapark to visiting famous cities in puglia.The school is also wonderful, wonderful teachers who teach excellent. A full immersion into Italian language and culture in beautiful Alberobello.  Andrea runs the school professionally with excellent teachers. My classmates and I loved our time  at the school.
